You will need to wear your Invisalign trays approximately 20-22 hours each day. You can take them out to eat and brush your teeth. Every one or two weeks, you will move to the next set of aligners. You will have regular check-ups with your dentist to make sure everything is progressing the way it should. The overall length of time you will need the aligners depends on how complex your needs are, but you can have a straighter smile in as little as six months with the aligners.
Invisalign braces are clear aligners that can be used as an alternative to traditional braces to straighten your smile. Made of a clear, flexible plastic, the aligners are comprised of a set of trays used to move your teeth a little at a time over a period of time.
The process is simple. At an examination with your Invisalign dentist, your teeth will be digitally scanned. This scan will be used to create the trays that will straighten your teeth. Once the trays have been created, you will have another appointment with your dentist to ensure they fit properly, and you’ll be ready to start your smile transformation.
While Invisalign may not be for everyone, there are benefits they offer compared to traditional braces. These benefits can help you decide to get more information about Invisalign in Brick, NJ. Some benefits include:

The first step to any procedure at Cambridge Dental Care, including Invisalign clear aligners, is the consultation visit. During this visit, Dr. Isaac Perle will complete a comprehensive exam, which will include x-rays and impressions. This will give us a full picture of your malocclusion and help us create a custom treatment plan.
During this initial visit, we will also discuss your goals for treatment, as well as any other procedures you may need to prepare for Invisalign treatment.
The images and impressions will be sent to the lab for the fabrication of your custom aligners. When your aligners are sent back to the office, we will schedule an appointment to have your first set of aligners fitted. Some patients require attachments to hold the aligners in place on the teeth. Attachments are made from tooth-colored resin, so they will blend in with your natural teeth.
If the aligners fit properly, we will send you home with the remaining aligners, which you will change out every 1 to 3 weeks based on your treatment plan. Most patients see results in 12 to 18 months. Aligners can be removed for eating and oral hygiene but should be worn for a minimum of 20 to 22 hours a day.
Most dental insurance plans do cover a portion of orthodontic care. However, there are some that classify Invisalign as a cosmetic procedure and will not cover anything. Our friendly office staff will work with your provider to determine your coverage and provide you with a quote showing your portion.
If you do not have dental coverage or your plan does not cover Invisalign, we do offer financing options. Ask about our low monthly payment plans. We believe that paying for your cosmetic dental treatments should be easy. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and FSA/HSA funds. For patients who qualify, we offer CareCredit.
